Spicebush is a plant native to our midwest USA region, an understory shrub also sometimes used in landscaping. Its berry holds historical significance as a wild flavor similar to allspice and peppercorn though it's largely a forgotten part of our terroir these days.
This salt is our most unique offering. It carries forward the flavors of preserved lemon with a peppery finish of spicebush berry, and it really shines on sautéed green beans and deviled eggs.
