The first in our caffeinated collection, Traverse takes its cues from whole ingredients found around the globe. Indian Assam black tea is the base, with its malty, sweet notes. The lift of aromatic green cardamom pods is the first on the nose, followed by warming ginger and cinnamon. A hint of lively orange brings brightness and chicory lends a full-bodied earthiness.
All of our tea blends are certified organic from seed to cup. Each tea tin includes a reusable fabric tea infuser and suggested brewing instructions for our loose leaf blends. Larger leaf pieces retain more flavor over time, and we find our teas to be just as flavorful a year after packaging.
We like to use 4.5g, or about 1 teaspoon, per 8 oz serving, when we brew Traverse.
